About the Role
Bright Future School is looking for an enthusiastic Elementary English Teacher to nurture young learners’ reading, writing, and communication skills. You’ll play a key role in helping students build a lifelong love of language and literature.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver age-appropriate English lessons (grades 1–5)
- Teach reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and creative writing
- Create a warm, engaging, and supportive learning environment
- Track and report on student learning progress
- Organize classroom activities, reading circles, and storytelling sessions
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff on curriculum development
- Communicate with parents about student development and needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or related field
- Teaching certification/license recognized in Tanzania
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Patience, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills
- Basic computer literacy for lesson planning and record-keeping
